Introductory Workshop: Open Educational Resources in Higher Education

In the online workshop the characteristics of Open Educational Resources (OER) are described and opportunities plus challenges are reflected. You will learn how to integrate OER into your work and what to consider when creating your own OER. In this workshop you will learn about the topic copyright (in Germany) and open licensing, especially the Creative Commons (CC). Focus of the 90 minutes session is higher education context. Practical examples are included and interactive exercises in group sessions.

Target Groups: Educational staff, university employees and students who are interested in the topic of OER.
