DESCRIPTION:Open Ed Live is a free online event aimed at bringing higher ed faculty\, librarians\, instructional designers\, and others with related responsibilities or interests together to explore the boundless opportunities of open education. It consists of three half-day\, virtual events with drop-in sessions for extended conversation on key topics. \nHosted by the Division of Digital Learning and UCF Libraries of the University of Central Florida\, along with members of the UCF Bookstore\, Office of the Provost of Academic Affairs\, and teaching faculty. \nSpeakers representing all levels of colleges and universities will present informational sessions\, participate in panel discussions\, and lead interactive workshops for attendees. \nYou’ll receive actionable advice on how to best incorporate open educational resources and practices into courses. \nThis second annual event acts as a prelude to Open Education Week which takes place March 3-7\, 2025. Open Education Week is an annual\, global celebration where educators can actively share and learn about the latest achievements in open education.

DESCRIPTION:The Data Reuse Days 2025 is an online event focusing on how people and organizations use Wikidata’s data to build interesting applications and tools. It aims to bring together data reusers and editors to learn from each other and discover cool Wikidata-powered applications. We will also cover technical aspects of Wikidata and share research and ideas for the future of reusing Wikidata’s data. \nThe event is taking place online\, we will have sessions taking place during periods of 2 hours through 8 days: from February 18 to 27\, 2025. Find the schedule below on this page. The sessions take place in English\, and are open to everyone interested in the topic of data reuse. You have 3 options to watch the sessions: \n\nAttend live in the Jitsi room: you’ll be able to interact with the speakers and other participants. The unique Jitsi link will be added to the Event details shortly before the event\, and visible to people who have registered.
