Run through the Creative Commons Open Education Platform\, a global community group of approximately 1000 members\, the competition invited community members to propose open education projects\, eligible for up to US$ 5K in funding. Open access distribution facilitates collaboration\, innovation\, and the adaptation of research for and from diverse contexts—empowering institutions and individuals to improve practices and outcomes.
