Hier ist ein Unterschied zur OER-Praxis in Europa zu beobachten: Warum wurden Lehrbücher im OER-Kontext bisher nur wenig beachtet? Warum sind sie nicht Bestandteil von DOAB\, dem Directory of Open Access Books? Erhalten offene Lehrbücher – analog zu wissenschaftlichen Open Access-Monografien – finanzielle Förderung? Sind sie Bestandteil von bibliothekarischen Sammlungen? DESCRIPTION:Offene Bildungsressourcen (OER) sind weithin dafür bekannt\, dass sie den Zugang zu Bildung verbessern und den Wissensaustausch ermöglichen.  \nIn diesem Vortrag werden drei wichtige Aspekte von OER untersucht\, die für interuniversitäre Zusammenarbeit von zentraler Bedeutung sind. Erstens ermöglichen OER die rechtssichere Nutzung von Bildungsressourcen über nationale Grenzen hinweg und beseitigen Unsicherheiten hinsichtlich des Urheberrechts\, insbesondere bei Übersetzungen und Adaptionen. Dies gewährleistet die Einhaltung unterschiedlicher rechtlicher Rahmenbedingungen und fördert gleichzeitig die Zusammenarbeit. Zweitens unterstützen OER die Nachhaltigkeit\, indem sie sicherstellen\, dass Investitionen in Bildungsmaterialien nicht durch restriktive Nutzungsrechte eingeschränkt werden. Dies ist besonders wichtig bei Kooperationen\, in denen gemeinsame Ressourcen von zentraler Bedeutung für die Förderung einer langfristigen Zusammenarbeit und die Ausrichtung auf Nachhaltigkeitsziele sind.  \nSchliesslich tragen OER zur digitalen Souveränität bei\, indem sie Institutionen und Pädagog:innen in die Lage versetzen\, Ressourcen zu erstellen\, anzupassen und zu teilen\, ohne auf proprietäre Plattformen oder Lizenzen angewiesen zu sein. DESCRIPTION:Educational resources are not free for everyone. UNESCO‘s definition of OER\, while encouraging the free publication of OER and authorising their reuse\, adaptation and redistribution by others\, often deprives the authors of the original work of feedback from those who use them. One of the consequences of these OER being ‘released into the wild’ is the multiplication of efforts to update resources to prevent them from becoming obsolete. Our approach to Open Education is as follows: to enable the use of training resources developed as part of publicly funded projects in a learning environment\, and to ensure the sustainability of training courses by simplifying user contributions on the one hand\, and paid support services on the other. \nThis webinar will present the Kaïros platform (open source under AGPL licence)\, which provides free access to training (via Edu-ID for the academic community or by creating a local account for other audiences) and where the process of continuous improvement of the quality of educational resources takes place. Two training courses are already available for free access: Digital Skills and Critical AI Literacy for Learning (CAILL). To ensure the sustainability of content: In the Kaïros learning environment\, all stakeholders can contribute to preventing  obsolescence by reporting content that is unclear or has become obsolete. These reports are made directly by users and are processed weekly\, ensuring that resources are always up to date. SUMMARY:From Exception to Open Licensing: OER Advocacy in Vaud Teacher Education
DESCRIPTION:This talk explores how teachers engage with Open Educational Resources (OER) when supported by a teacher education institution\, and what those practices could mean for educators in the canton of Vaud. Drawing on my professional experience\, I will compare day-to-day realities: finding\, adapting\, and sharing resources; balancing time constraints; and navigating copyright through the educational (teaching) exception. Finally\, we’ll consider practical ways these approaches could strengthen the Vaud teaching on.
