Il est Directeur Général Adjoint en charge du numérique et professeur HDR à NEOMA Business School en France. Il est également serial entrepreneur en tant qu’associé fondateur d’AtooMedia\, une agence de communication sonore et de design musical\, et de sa filiale\, Mediavea\, une société de marketing en magasin\, mais aussi de Sociacom\, société de conseil en numérique et Compote de Prod\, société de production de spectacles vivants. \nAlain est co-auteur de plusieurs ouvrages et a publié ses travaux académiques en France et à l’étranger dans des revues scientifiques telles que l’International Journal of Research in Marketing et le Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services. SUMMARY:OER in Research and Practice: Supporting International Learners
DESCRIPTION:The use and adoption of OER presents an exciting opportunity to support international learners in their Ontario postsecondary education journey. This presentation will showcase research eCampusOntario conducted in 2023 on digital solutions to support international learners. An eCampusOntario OER Ranger will also talk about an OER they created as part of the Virtual Learning Strategy that is used to support international learners with developing professional communication skills. This presentation will combine OER research with OER practice.

DESCRIPTION:Join LibreTexts Founder and Executive Director\, Delmar Larsen\, as he shows you how to build assignments in LibreTexts open homework and assessment platform\, ADAPT. Participants will learn how to build autograded questions based on four technologies – H5P\, WebWork\, IMathAS\, and native (QTI) – that can be used interchangeably to allow for maximal impact. Currently sponsored by the California Education Learning Lab (CELL)\, ADAPT is free for all California instructors and students for the next three years.
