The group ABED ABERTA of the Brazilian Association for Distance Education will run three parallel online discussion forums: OE in basic education; OE in higher and continuing education and OE in corporate education. The main goal is to bring the concept of open education beyond OER and to focus on aspects such as interinstituional collaborations, open leadership in higher education, creation and reuse of MOOCs, assessment and certification of open education, leadership and management for open education in schools and open online courses for continuous professional development. The discussion forums are open to all and there is no need to register. The main language of the forums is Portuguese and the moderators and guest contributors are based in different Brazilian regions and institutions, as well as internationally.
