The webinar will present the latest developments of the Open Educators Factory (OEF) platform, a web tool that allows university educators to self-assess their capacity and level of development in terms of Open Education and provides some guidelines to further adopt openness in all dimensions of their activities.
Through the platform, university educators can fill a short questionnaire and see how they “position” with respect to different openness dimensions, also receiving immediate feedback with some ideas, suggestions and inspirations that shall improve your work in terms of openness, effectiveness and impact.
At the same time, university managers who want to improve the openness capacity of their teaching staff, can see how educators from their university “position” with respect to different openness dimensions, spotting best-performers and staff in need of further training.
During the webinar we will present the first results of the analysis of the data coming from the platform, and will discuss with participants possible future developments and improvements of the tool.
The OEF platform (available in English, Spanish French and Portuguese, and being actually translated into Chinese and Russian) results from a a fully open research project funded by the Universidad International de la Rioja, and is therefore available for customisation for any interested stakeholder.
