Hear from Virginia Tech colleagues who have adopted or authored and shared customizable and no-cost-to-students learning resources in their courses. Faculty adapters and authors of Open Educational Resources (OER) include: Jane Roberson-Evia (Statistics), Mary Lipscombe (Biological Sciences), Stephen Skripak (Pamplin), Anastasia Cortez (Pamplin). Publishing expert Peter Potter (University Libraries), and students Mayra Atiles (Ph.D. Candidate, Engineering Education), and Jonathan de Pena (Senior, Finance) also join the panel. Moderated by: Anita Walz (University Libraries).

Open Educational Resources are teaching, learning, and research resources that have been donated or graduated to the Public Domain or have been released under an intellectual property license (such as a selected Creative Commons license or GNU public license) that permits their free use and re-purposing by others.
