Part of the 24-hour Global Web-a-thon:
Open education resources (OERs) offer a rich array of academic material that can be easily integrated into course instruction. While an overview of existing OER textbook resources will be given, this presentation primarily focuses on the lesser known academic resources that provide access to content through archival collections, digitized reference materials, and academic depositories. Discussion will identify why using such resources improves student learning and research.Creative Commons Open Education Platform (CC OpenEdu)
