24hGW: Peer-2-Peer University (P2PU) - Nico Koenig

Part of the 24-hour Global Web-a-thon:

P2PU has been working with libraries and community centres to develop a way for people to use OER and other free online courses for use within in-person study groups. Called ‘learning circles’, participants meet once a week for 6-8 weeks with a non-content expert facilitator in a local public space to work through the course together and face-to-face. This session will offer an overview of the learning circle model and how to start a learning circle that uses OER in your own community.
