Part of the 24-hour Global Web-a-thon:
This session will demonstrate a strategy to create OER from open digital content to increase time spent reading, reinforce vocabulary and stimulate predictive inferences. The strategy has been tested in a rigorous year-long, experimental study. Presenters will explain how they implemented reading presentations in a flipped basic level university ESL course in Puerto Rico. Participants will be invited to use the open content literacy tool themselves and join in our open literacy community.
