Open Education Week UPT Workshop - Transformative Communities of Open Education

The The 9th edition of the OEW International Workshop is organized by Politehnica University of Timișoara, through the ID / IFR and e-Learning Centre with the support of the EDEN Europe and IEEE Romania associations, during the Open Education Week 2022 and is included in the new Sharing Together webinars. 16 international speakers in an interactive session, through practical examples, will demonstrate how digital and open education can foster innovation and the impact that transformative communities can have in education, science and technology. Several initiatives European Universities and the Digital Education Hub and their foresee plans will be presented. The impact European Universities have in innovation and education is undoubtedly important and it also acts as drivers for regional innovation ecosystems. 2021 brings a highly diverse edition of speakers, with a very good gender balance, with young researchers full of enthusiasm but also teachers with years of experience behind them, with student opinions and the perspective of decision-makers, with guests from education and innovation in technology, all that create a transformative community of digital open education. Participation is free, presentations will be held in Romanian and English, and participants will receive OEW - UPT Open Badges.
