The UC Davis Library’s AggieOpen program is thrilled to host Professor Jasmine Roberts-Crews as our first invited speaker for 2023. Professor Roberts-Crews will present “A Call for Reparative Justice in Open Education Labor” on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM PST via Zoom.
This talk discusses the intersections between race, gender, and labor in open education. Using a Black feminist lens, the talk urgently calls for reparative justice in open education labor. The audience will understand how to reclaim justice in open education labor through equitable practices, communal care, and rest.
