← Back to list of events

The webinar will show you Inspark OER Tool’s four interactive, subject-agnostic learning experiences that teach essential skills. Inspark OER offers tools and course packages. We promote active learning & implicitly teaches essential skills – available now to use in any discipline, any LMS – bundle interactive assignments & content into a low-cost textbook. Inspark OER was created in partnership with Arizona State University, and the three largest college systems in the country (Ivy Tech Community College, Maricopa Community Colleges, Miami Dade College) and funded by $3.4 million grant from the Department of Education.

The four tools are Review It, Plan It, Tour It, and Chart It, and they encourage essential skills such as but not limited to peer reviewing, visioning, cultural awareness, and data analysis respectively. Essential Skills are skills that are used everyday in the academic, personal, and vocational life. Attendees can develop their own assignments in the tools, contextualizing the learning to their students.

Come learn about our Inspark OER has created a course content package for English Composition, Communication, Biology, Chemistry, and Student Success and several ready-to-use assignment guides that incorporate the tools. See how our packages can be used as is or adapt them to suit their needs. Check out our website oer.inspark.education for more
