OEWeek Live! Friday Opening Show

← Back to list of events

We have a new element for Open Education Week-- a live webcast “show” scheduled twice a day during #OEWeek to share the excitement of everything happening in the day. Watch the live stream via YouTube where you can send via chat questions/comments to the studio. Or return later to watch the recording.

Can it be the last day of Open Education Week? You can see there are plenty of events today that we will summarize for your later day activities.

But the main feature is for our guests to describe their projects and activities going on this week, as well as highlights of what they have experienced. And whatever else emerges in our informal conversations with guests:

  • Maha BaliMia Zamora, and Clarissa Sorensen-Unruh (Equity Unbound): MYFest22 & MYFest23 and Equity Unbound
  • Bukola James (Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom Nigeria): first implementation of Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom program in Nigeria 1 which adopted UNESCO’s Media and Information Literacy Framework to enhance 75 Teachers’ Media and Information Literacy Skills in Kwara State.
  • Karen Cangialosi (OEGlobal): OEG membership drive, the rationale behind it, underrepresented regions discounts, and the progress we’ve made so far.
