Panel discussions : strategies for using open educational resources and digital accessibility

The main purpose of a panel discussions is to share the best practices in the implementation of the UNESCO 2019 Recommendation on Open Educational Resources at institutional level, the contribution of USARB to the successful implementation of the Recommendation.

The panel discussion will focus on strategies for using Open Educational Resources (OER) to address digital accessibility of teaching and learning materials inclusive for users with physical, and learning disabilities.  

We will discuss:

• the advantages OER offer
• how to use them
• which licenses we can apply
• what the licenses imply
• how to disseminate OER to give them visibility
