The Utah Academic Library Consortium (UALC) and Utah Education and Telehealth Network (UETN) are co-hosting a virtual symposium March 20–25. The event will feature sessions on building OER initiatives, how-to’s on PressbooksEDU, a showcase of OER projects created by Utah faculty and staff and a Q&A session where participants can chat with project creators.

Today: Learning from Colorado to Think Big About OER in Utah
Discover how Colorado successfully coordinated a statewide OER initiative which garnered ongoing legislative funding, a standing OER Council, a successful grant program, faculty training and statewide events. Deborah, who played a leading role in Colorado's initiative, will also describe the timeline, implementation and components that led to the Colorado initiative's success and lead a brainstorming session on what might work–or not–in Utah.
