SUMMARY:K-12 Studio Demo: An OER Repository for French K-12 Teachers
DESCRIPTION:In this demo\, we will showcase our brand new OER platform for French as a second language teachers at K-12 levels (K-12 Studio) built by Learnful Labs Inc. \nThe overarching goal of K-12 Studio is to offer FSL teachers in Ontario and beyond a trusted\, well-organized space where they can safely share\, adapt\, and create curriculum or general subjects-aligned resources\, while benefiting from peer exchange\, professional recognition\, and pedagogical support. By streamlining collaboration\, the initiative aims to reduce duplication of effort\, lightens workload pressures\, supports well-being\, and strengthens teacher retention across Ontario. \nOur platform features a novelty : an AI-assisted resource submission form. This will help teachers save time and still ensure discoverability of their resources. \nThis project is funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage and the Ontario Ministry of Education.
