Becoming an Open Educator is a CC-BY collaboratively authored, community reviewed badged course created as part of the Opening Educational Practices in Scotland project. Uniquely the course approaches open practice by exploring how and if openness makes a difference to learning and teaching. Incorporating best practice advice on using open educational resources, real-life case studies and highlighting issues such as digital literacy, participants are encouraged to reflect on their own context and test their understanding through a series of quizzes.
