The Open Neuroscience Initiative is a free-to-access, free-to-adopt full length neuroscience textbook for undergraduate level introductory neuroscience students. The textbook is 377 pages, with 106,500+ words over 18 chapters that covers topics such the anatomy of the nervous system, the electrical and chemical properties of neurons, sensation and perception, substance use, sleep, learning and rhythm, emotion, and more. Clinical examples and more than 360 illustrations and tables have been included throughout the textbook.
