The Europeana Subtitled project is working towards making Europeana videos more usable and accessible by adding subtitles generated by Artificial Intelligence.
The project recently added English subtitles to over 25.000 videos that were originally in one of seven languages: Dutch, German, Greek, Italian, Romanian, Slovenian, and Spanish.
Your mission, should you accept it, is to help us in checking and validating these automatically generated subtitles.
Contribute to improving the subtitles of Europe’s audiovisual archive, and learn about the process of subtitling and the tools that support it, while you compete with your peers.
Together, YOU and Artificial Intelligence can generate supersonic subtitles that will open up access to the Europeana archives to the world!
