DESCRIPTION:Open Education Global (OEGlobal): Open Education Week runs from 2nd–6th March\, 2026 \nDún Laoghaire Institute of Art\, Design and Technology\, Dr. Selina Guinness & Jane Buggle\, in partnership with Technological University of the Shannon\, Athlone Campus\, is pleased to host a 90-minute interactive workshop led by Maura Flynn\, OER Librarian and lead for the Developing Open Educational Resources initiative at TUS Athlone Student Resource Centre. \nThis session will support our 2025 Teaching & Learning Fellows and staff participants in developing their Higher Education Authority NFETL SATLE-funded fellowship project submissions as Open Educational Resources for publication on the Illustro Institutional Repository. DESCRIPTION:To mark OE Week 2026\, Technological University of the Shannon is hosting a H5P workshop for our TUS Open Press Community of Practice members. \nThe TUS Open Press Community of Practice meets a few times per semester to support each other in learning more about Open Education and how we can collectively contribute to the Commons. \nOur theme for this workshop is H5P and we will focus on our recent publication: Your Essay Builder: Clear Steps to Plan and Structure Your Essay\, which has successfully integrated a variety of H5P approaches. \nOther Community members will also be invited to share their experiences of using H5P in their teaching and how they integrate interactive elements into their Openly Licensed works to scaffold learning and engage users.
