The OER World Map Project aims at describing, visualising and connecting elements of the OER-Ecosystem like organizations, persons, (online-)services, projects, events and good practise stories.
Currently we are looking for volunteers, who are willing to contribute to the project by editing data. Editing data with the world map is fun and relaxing, if you like this kind of activity. It also includes a great learning opportunity, but requires a basic understanding of our data model. In order to provide potential editors with the needed skills, we will offer a webinar on
Monday the 7th of March, 17:00 CET
Together with members of our country champion network we will use Open Education Week to work on two tasks:
1) Bringing all Participants of Open Education Week 2016 to the OER World Map
2) Adding Repositories from the Open Education Europe List [1] to the OER World Map.
Additionally we are still looking for good practise stories. So if you want to share your experience with the world of Open Education and Open Educational Resources, we are looking forward to hear from you!
If this sounds interesting to you, please do not hesitate to contact us und info@oerworldmap.org
