Making Open Education Practices a Reality: lessons learnt from a project based approach , MIE and Rodrigues

This event is about sharing the highlights of an OER project and will be led by Trainee teachers from Rodrigues Island who are actually following a Teacher Diploma In Primary course at the Mauritius Institute of Education. Trainees themselves will lead the sharing from their projects to a new group of teachers . Lessons learnt will include considerations involved in Making Open Education Practices a reality: authentic narrations, demonstrations and processes involved from trainees themselves. The opportunities and challenges experienced in this context will be highlighted prior to considering how these can then add to the bank of OERs.
