popodne@ceu (monthly gatherings on e-learning) – Open education and open access

University of Zagreb, University Computing Centre SRCE is organizing monthly gatherings on e-learning called popodne@ceu with lectures being held in an informal environment. At this occasion, the event will start with lecture titled "Open Education: The Moral, Business & Policy Case for OER" which will be held by Cable Green, Director of Open Education, Creative Commons via webinar on the address: https://connect.srce.hr/ceu/.

Panel discussion after the lecture will be focused on the role of the policies on open access to scientific information, educational resources, research materials and publications in open education and society as well as on the examples of good practice on openness in Croatia.

These interesting topics will be discussed with the Europe’s 2016 Open Access Champions:
• Professor Diana Šimić, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Organization and Informatics University of Zagreb
• Assistant professor Ivana Hebrang Grgić, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences University of Zagreb
• Assistant professor Predrag Pale, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering University of Zagreb
