The Open University of Tanzania is planning will celebrate the global Open Education Week 2017 by hosting an Open Educational Resource (OER) Awareness and Experience Sharing workshop at the National Open and Distance Learning (ODL) conference on 28th March 2017. The one day event will consist of various activities including:
1. A world café on Understanding OER
2. Sharing experiences with regional universities about OER activities at their institutions
3. Launching the Open University of Tanzania OER policy and Open Repository
4. Establishing OER network chapter in Tanzania
