Intended for faculty, deans and administrators interested in adopting open textbooks to increase student success, this Open Education Week panel discussion, moderated by University Librarian Scott Walter, will present diverse perspectives on issues related to open textbook adoption, such as the challenges and time investment required by faculty, potential benefits to students, both financially and pedagogically, and strategies for successfully implementing this initiative. Pizza will be provided. Panel discussion starts at noon and there will be time for questions.
