OpenCon 2018 Cleveland

In honor of Open Education Week and in collaboration with universities across Ohio, Cleveland State University will be facilitating its first OpenCon Cleveland event the first week of March, 2018. The focus of the event will be the potential and value of open educational efforts in higher education. The facilitators of this event hope to increase awareness of and enthusiasm for open in the larger Ohio community and to begin establishing a network of open education advocates in the region. The day-long kick-off event will be on Monday, March 5th at Cleveland State University and will include a keynote speaker, panel of faculty who have adapted or adopted an OER, lightning talks, and networking opportunities. Librarians, library staff, instructional designers, and faculty are all welcome to attend!
