A Fresh Start for Faculty OER and Affordable Course Material Grants

Our online workshop provides an opportunity for administrators, faculty, lecturers, graduate students and OER experts to discuss best practices in initial OER grantmaking. A local team has been given final approval to create programming for a library-led grant initiative to incentivize faculty to engage, explore and use affordable and OER materials. We want to acknowledge that this space has not always been successful, pilot programs run their course, whereas we are looking to increase awareness that lends to university buy-in. We are in the final stages of launching our website, applications and marketing. We are excited to share our programmatic goals, but we also want to hear from you – the OER Community – in an interactive session with discussions, Q&A, feedback, and maybe a vision board (for that ideal outcome scenario).
