REGISTRATION REQUIRED. This is a rebroadcast of a keynote address from the October 2022 Open Education Conference. The presentation will provide several examples of the benefits of Open Science and focus particularly on climate science. With the challenges of climate change becoming more notable each year, there is a necessity to create open knowledge to support seeking solutions.
Dr. Monica Granados is the campiagn director for the Creative Commons Open Climate Campaign promoting open access of climate and biodiversity research. As a Senior Policy Advisor at Environment and Climate Change Canada she provided subject matter expertise and supported the delivery of open science in the Government of Canada.
