OER Wales Cymru is a pan Wales project run by Universities Wales on behalf of the HE Sector in Wales. It aims to promote the use of Open Educational Resources and embed Open Educational Practice across the HE Sector in Wales. Key outcomes of the project include an online portal to showcase the best OER’s in Wales, the launch of a Student Survival sMOOC (Short Massive Open Online Course) which has been developed with students as co-creators, and the establishment of a Champions Network to foster Open Educational Practice. The Project is also hosting the sixth international OER15 Conference in Wales in April 2015 http://oer15.oerconf.org/
