ClicaBrasil: Portuguese Language and Culture for Intermediate Students

←Back to list of resources
ClicaBrasil, a program developed by Vivian Flanzer, teaches the Portuguese language in the context of Brazilian culture to intermediate and advanced language learners. The website and new textbook comprise an open curriculum of seven units based on culturally rich literary texts, accompanied by authentic and unscripted videos of Brazilians speaking spontaneously about their lives, their country, and topics addressed in these texts. Each unit contains hundreds of activities that hone language skills while raising awareness about contemporary Brazilian society. Supplementary materials include answer keys, a grammar bank with concise explanations, and chapter vocabulary lists.
