Whether you are creating a collection of OER for your course or producing an adapted work, Creative Commons licenses can be confusing at times. Here are three handouts to help faculty de-mystify the use of CC licenses. The first handout explains the difference between a collection and a remix/adaptation. The second highlights attribution best practices and the TASL method. The final handout is a quick breakdown of the four CC license elements and includes a copy of the “Which CC-licensed material can be remixed” chart. Please use, share, and remix.
