Curationist

Curationist is a burgeoning ecosystem for collecting and sharing digital cultural materials from the Creative Commons/public domain. We are developing an API search tool that gathers digital heritage arts and culture images (free from copyright) from museums around the world. Our platform then provides a space for diverse voices to (re)contextualize these objects and their multifaceted meanings. Accordingly, both the search tool and the growing batch of feature essays and interviews by and with diverse cultural thought-leaders serves as a growing realm of open educational resources, to be used by teachers, learners, researchers, artists, and seekers across and beyond levels and disciplines.
