Open Education Week is made of what the global community contributes. Start sharing here.
Every year since 2012, institutions, organizations, and individuals worldwide spend one week in March sharing, discussing, and celebrating their contributions to the ideals of Open Education.
All open educators, students, policymakers, technologists, and enthusiasts, wherever you may be, are invited to host events and share resources for OEWeek 2025.

Events
Events are activities that take place between the March 3-7 timeframe of Open Education Week 2025 – we’ll also list all relevant events planned in 2025 until the end of March. Activities can be live in-person local, online, or asynchronous events, as a series or single events.
For ideas to inspire you, explore the archive of past OEWeek events (2015-2023) or see ones from last year.

Assets
Open Assets are resources (e.g. OERs, textbooks, courses, libraries of resources, or education modules) of educational value and purpose that are openly licensed and accessible. This year, we ask you to add your own or favorite assets to specific repositories.
Seek inspiration by exploring the OEWeek assets archive (2015-2023) and the assets shared in 2024.
