Dr. Vasumathi Raman will present the key findings of her dissertation research. Her study explores the correlation between open educational resources (OER) adoption and student outcomes, focusing on Hispanic and financially needy students in a large community college.
This session will provide a series of lightening talks with each speaker given 5 – 7 minutes to discuss tips and tricks for their tech/OE area. OE is more than just textbooks. We will explore podcasts, interactives, simulations, videos and on-line courses. Check out the event website for details.
