📍 Thompson Rivers University is hosting a catered lunch and streaming the first set of Open Education Talks, followed by an inspiring keynote by Dave Cormier, Director of Curriculum Services at TRU Open Learning. on “What Might Open Ed Look Like in the Future?” Everyone is welcome—virtual participation options are available!

Open Ed Talks 2025 Lunch & Learn Sessions
After our March 5th Kickoff event, three interactive sessions will be held on March 12, 19, and 26. Each session includes the streaming of lightning talks from University of Calgary, followed by 30 minutes of facilitated roundtable discussions to explore and apply the open education ideas and concepts discussed in the streamed lightning talks from that day. Each roundtable discussion will be facilitated and focused on the themes outlined in the Open Ed Talks 2025 schedule. Tea/ Coffee/ Water will be provided, and in-person participants are encouraged to bring their lunch.
