Open Education in Action at SFU
March 7, 2024 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm GMT
Join a panel of SFU instructors, students, and staff sharing how they’ve explored and implemented open educational resources and practices.
Open education is a growing movement that seeks to advance affordable, accessible and flexible learning through the development and use of open educational resources (OER) and open pedagogy.

- Why and how they became interested in open educational resources (OER) and/or practices
- What kinds of open education projects and/or initiatives they have been working on
- How the use of OER and/or open pedagogy impacts teaching and learning
- Where to get further support with OER and open education at SFU
