The Remixer Machine’s Open Education Week Remixer Challenge

For Open Education Week 2025 we are excited to bring to you the Remixer Challenge being created for us by Bryan Mathers and intern Gracie at Visual Thinkery.  This is a fun opportunity to make use of the Fabulous Remixer Machine. recognized in 2024 with an Open Education Award For Excellence for Open Resuse / Remix / Adapation. The Remixer Machine includes a suite of web based tools you can use to generate graphics, cartoons, and unique visuals, all of them openly licensed, through a very simple web interface that lets you easily modify and customize a design from a template..
Each day of Open Education Week, Bryan and Gracie will post in OEG Connect a daily challenge based on one of the tools in the Remixer set, you can find them all at https://connect.oeglobal.org/t/remixer-challenge/7402. All you need to do is spend a few minutes creating a new remix, downloading your fabulous image, and posting it as a reply to the post for each daily challenge.

And for more audience participation, we invite everyone to keep an eye on the responses, and use the like buttons to indicate your favorites. We will use this as a tally for the best remixes per day, and at the end of the week will open up a poll to vote on winners. The prizes are vouchers to be used at the new OEGlobal Merch store.
All of the remixes can be seen in OEG Connect but to add your own or vote, you will need to login or create an account there (links in tip right)
