Sharing open assets in existing repositories
In previous years of Open Education Week we called for contributions of open “assets” to our own database (see the archive of resources added 2015 – 2023). Last year we decided to shift focus in asking participants to share in any existing repository resulting in 132 new resources added to the world’s collection. The archives may give you ideas of the types of assets we aim to share.
As an evolving effort, in 2025 we are offering a three option choice of places to share open assets but also to create community connections with other open educators.
In the spirit of Open Education Week, the sharing of assets is aimed at making a clear statement of what this community has and is contributing to the global community.
Get ready to be active starting now, during Open Education Week, and afterward in any/all of these destinations.
