DePauw Affordability Champions: A panel discussion of PALSave Open Educator Award winners.

The Open Educator Award at DePauw University recognizes innovation and excellence in support of textbook affordability and student success.
DePauw faculty Sarah Rowley, Nipun Chopra and Humberto Barreto have been recognized with this award by the Private Academic Library Network of Indiana (PALNI), a consortium the DePauw Libraries are a member of. These and other DePauw faculty have participated in PALNI’s PALSave program, whether that be through adopting an open textbook, redesigning a course using free resources for students, or authoring their own open access textbook. They will present their pedagogical experiences at this panel presentation, which falls during Open Education Week, an annual opportunity for sharing and learning about the latest achievements in Open Education worldwide.
