Open Pedagogy: Reinvigorate Class with Renewable Assignments

This is a workshop offered by the J. Sargeant Reynolds Library that will emphasize the instructional side of open pedagogy, exploring the difference between renewable and traditional assignments. We will go over examples of renewable assignments, with an emphasis on the opportunities afforded by online platforms such as Wikipedia and LinkedIn. We will also brush up on Open Education Resources and how to find free textbooks that will be an ideal fit for your class.
