Creating Your Own OER: Faculty Experiences and Insights

Tue March 10, 2026 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm GMT

Open Educational Resources (OER) are free, openly licensed learning materials that faculty can use, adapt, and share. While many instructors choose to adopt or revise existing OER, fewer realize that creating their own open materials is also an option.

In this webinar, three University of Northern Colorado faculty members will share their experiences developing both large and small OER projects. Join us to learn what OER creation can look like in practice and how it can support both your teaching and your students.

Panelists: Dr. Rose Grose, Colorado School of Public Health at UNC; Dr. Michael Kimball, Department of Anthropology; Dr. Corinne Wieben, Department of History

Moderator: Caterina Belle Azzarello, Ph.D. candidate, Educational Psychology
