Introduction to Pressbooks

Are you looking to create an Open Educational Resource (OER)? This Brock University introductory workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of using Pressbooks, a publishing platform designed for creating customized and open content. The workshop will cover:

  • setting up your account,
  • organizing your content,
  • accessibility in Pressbooks, and
  • exploring key features such as formatting, multimedia integration, and exporting your work in various formats (EPUB, PDF, and more).

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the knowledge and tools to begin creating and publishing your OER. No prior experience with Pressbooks is required.
